James Tran is a doctor of Chinese medicine, and acupuncturist. He has been a natural medicine practitioner for more than 8 years.
His interest in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine started after studying other traditional medicines, including western naturopathy and Tibetan medicine. His motivation is to service to others, through traditional medicine and other natural approaches.
He practices Chinese herbal medicine and two distinct styles of acupuncture, namely Zhu’s scalp acupuncture, popularised by Dr Zhu Ming; and navel acupuncture developed by Professor Qi Yong. Scalp acupuncture is particularly effective for neurological disorders, including stroke recovery; and navel acupuncture is particularly effective for pain conditions and digestive conditions. Both systems can effectively regulate the body’s organs and systems, and often most effective in helping difficult to treat conditions.
